Government establishes CPEC Cell at Board of Investment

Seven SEZs have already been notified by the Federal Government.

The government has established a cell at Board of Investment in Islamabad to facilitate the stakeholders on matters relating to Special Economic Zones of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

In all forty one Special Economic Zones have been identified so far all over the country which also include one each in Gilgit Baltistan, AJK and Islamabad.

Seven SEZs have already been notified by the Federal Government.

These include Khairpur Special Economic Zone, Korangi Creek Industrial Park, Bin Qasim Industrial Park in Sindh , Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park, Sheikhupura, M-3 Industrial City, Faisalabad, Value Added City, Faisalabad in Punjab and Hattar Economic Zone, Haripur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
